Multifaceted Science Of Measurement: Economics

Economics denotes the rationale behind the various consumption habits of the society. It not only helps in analyzing the past and present aspects but also helps in advanced planning. It throws light on various parameters related to present scenario based on which; assumptions or planning for the future can be ascertained in a more accurate and logical manner. Use of economic theories in various real life situations helps in ascertaining true conditions which are most likely to impact the society. These theories help in ascertaining the production values viz a viz the demand and subsequent supplies in a particular society. .

The science has various branches to its ideologies. It deals with the what is aspect as well as the should be aspect. It ascertains the current levels and decides the levels to be achieved and the best approach to achieve the levels. Different people have different views with regards to economic science. Some have a more orthodox or individualistic view of a particular economic situation while some might have a more radical or unorthodox view. These views provide insight of the details of a particular scenario from different view points along with the ways and means to access controls.

Economics provides the means for accomplishment of financial targets which have been set by individuals or in cases of macro economics by governments. It becomes an effective planning tool as it projects the fiscal and financial health of an institution or a society. Two important facets of economic science are the set of micro and macro economic theories. As the name suggest both of them target different segments using unique and individual parameters in ascertaining the correct solutions. While the micro tends to work with the smaller or individual set of parameters, the macro looks at a much wider and bigger picture of the economic situation.

Many economists believe that economic theories are a logical and correct way of a thinking pattern. Analysis of consumption patterns of societies various habits is also a part of economic studies. Economic theories play a vital role in the regulatory aspects of an environment as well. Results of economic analysis and studies help in conceptualization and formulation of various rules and regulations by the government and other regulatory agencies.

There is a view which states that the study of provision and consumption of energy patterns in a society is also a very important analysis aspect for economic science. The view emphasizes that the measurement of contribution of energy in the development aspects should be analyzed through parameters like output, costs, benefits and efficiency. Economic studies are used in the fields of manufacturing and engineering to analyze and improve upon the processes to enhance energy utilization and conservation.
